This spot is the cutest! Perfect for people watching along Dundas and really adorable outdoor patio that feels super private and cozy. Absolutely loved everything about this place while on a recent date. The menu is massive and each drink description is spot on. We ordered two rounds of cocktails (Brasil 66, whiskey business, hoof Manhattan and ward 11) and some snacks including devilled eggs, pimento cheese and smoked olives. Everything was stellar and service was so friendly and timely.

There isn't a single bar in Toronto that comes even remotely close to to matching the all around experience of Cocktail Bar. This place is perfect for a date, perfect for a quick beer and a shot, perfect for sitting at the bar and sipping through the well curated spirits list. It predates basically all of the true cocktail bars downtown and is somehow still one of the coolest spots to get a proper drink. The quality of the cocktails, the ambience, and the value are all in a league of their own. Beyond that, not only are the bartenders some of the best in the city, but they're also all around lovely people. Go here IMMEDIATELY. Actually.... no, don't go. Leave space for me.

I didn't really think of myself as a "cocktail person" and more of a "regular beer guy", but maybe this place converted me???? A friend took me here yesterday for happy hour and both drinks were crazy delicious. Great bartender! Menu is clear and easy to understand with lots of fun details. Cool experience!

Amazing cocktail bar with an occasionally rotating menu but bartenders who are willing and able to go off menu. They also have a weekly special and sometimes it's so good you dream about it. My favorite drink right now is the one pictured the Buena Vista. The bartenders are so nice Flor is just the best. A cozy amazing cocktail bar staple for those in the know in Toronto

Everything we Tried at Cocktail Bar We nearly walk right past it--a small sign in the window of the white-brick facade catches our eye, sparking just enough curiosity to pull us in. We were met with irresistible bar snacks, a thoughtfully curated wine and beer list, but trust me, go for a cocktail! ✨️ Menu items featured: Grove Armada - gin, olive oil, peach, white vermouth & lemon curd Coffee Colada - bourbon, pineapple, toasted coconut, coffee, tamari, fernet & banana Irresistible Caramel Corn Rosetta-reposado tequila, guava, buckwheat honey, masala, absinthe & lime Traditional Espresso Martini

Everything was great, I ordered the truth hurts cocktail and it was wonderful! The ambience is very moody, but there isn’t lots of space so if make a reservation ahead if you can!

The quintessential cocktail bar I've visited this year (2025). Love the decor. The cocktails hit the level I expect for a true cocktail bar. I would place this well above other highly awarded cocktail bars. I found their attention to detail superb - the cocktails take you straight to the line of what you'd expect for various flavors and types - but never go past the line. Also, this is the first cocktail bar I've come across that has figured out how to pair and complement absinthe.

My favourite cocktail bar in Toronto. Every cocktail is amazing and unique. Plus they have happy hour every single day from 5-7 pm. Absinthe whip is my personal favourite off their regular menu. But they had a seasonal menu the most recent time I went, and the Buena Vista Martini was insane. A creamy mix of hazelnut, coffee, vanilla and Irish whiskey...so good, it's dangerous.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! First interact is important. As soon as I walked in the bartender smiled and asked how many in our party. Immediately a bottle of water and menus were set on the table. She was AMAZING to guide what to drink. It’s intimate and cozy making it a great spot for a date or night with friends. Winter time the fireplace makes the ambiance, while the summertime the patio make its perfect for people watching. Drinks PERFECT. Service PERFECT. Menu changes seasonally, but you can always ask for classics! Flor is a MASTER. Tell her what you like and she makes MAGIC. Try the Buena vista martini and the Mescalero. You won’t be disappointed.
